It came as a big shock to every Chelsea fan when Costa was left out of the team after he was linked with a big money move to China.
However, it appears Costa’s rumoured bust-up with Conte is now a thing of the past and the Spanish forward is firing on all cylinders for the Premier League leaders once again for the league topper.
The 28-year-old, who has scored 52 goals in 100 appearances for the Blues, found the net again on his return to the first-team in a 2-0 victory over Hull at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Now, ahead of the side’s FA Cup clash with London neighbours Brentford, Costa seems to be enjoying life in the Chelsea team as seen during training at the club’s complex in Cobham.
Although we’ve seen the 28 year old forward score all sorts of goals over the course of his Chelsea career, but we have undoubtedly never seen him score one like this before.
Costa nudged the ball in with his errm… backside… in front of Gary Cahill and Nemanja Matic – can we expect to see more of the same from him at the weekend?
